Press release
$DOTCOM, a plan
A token owned mostly by the people who trade here, launching on a date not yet set
dotcom.systems today published its plan for $DOTCOM. The token has not been made, and trading on the site stays free until it is.
Not launched, nothing to buy
$DOTCOM does not exist yet. There is no presale, no private round and no way to buy it today. Anything offered to you as $DOTCOM before launch is not ours. There is no launch date. When there is one, it goes on this page and on X first, and the Season 0 snapshot gets at least 30 days' notice.
The short version
- 0.25%fee per trade from launch, free until then
- 50%of every buyback burned
- 75%to people who use or buy it
- 0%to investors
Trading on dotcom.systems is free until $DOTCOM launches. From launch, every buy and sell pays 0.25%, and all of it buys $DOTCOM on the open market, every hour. Half of what it buys is burned, 40% goes to people who stake $DOTCOM and 10% goes to a public treasury. Stakers pay less to trade, down to nothing on their first $25,000 a month.
There will only ever be 1,000,000,000 $DOTCOM, and 75% of them go to the people who use or buy it. The team gets 15%, locked for a year. Investors get none. $DOTCOM is not a share in the company: holders get what the contracts and the rules on this page give them.
Where the fee goes
- 50% burnedgone for good
- 40% to stakerspaid out over 7 days
- 10% to the treasurya public wallet
Example$100 trade , then $0.25 fee , then $0.125 burned · $0.10 to stakers · $0.025 to the treasury
How the fee and the buyback work
From launch, every buy and sell pays 0.25%. On a buy it comes out of the USDG or ETH you pay, so if you type $100, $99.75 is traded. On a sell it comes out of the USDG you receive. It is never taken in stock tokens. The fee is shown as its own line before you confirm and on your trade's press release. A $1,000 order, the largest the site takes, pays $2.50.
The whole fee goes to the buyback contract, a public contract with no owner, and so do the trading fees the locked launch pool earns. Once an hour it buys $DOTCOM in the $DOTCOM/USDG pool. It spends at most $2,500 an hour and never pays more than 1% above the 30-minute average price, and anything it can't spend waits for the next hour. Anyone can start the hourly buy, and the site does it on schedule.
In the same transaction, what it bought is split three ways. The split is written into the contract, and nobody can change it. Burned tokens are destroyed with the token's burn function, so total supply on chain goes down. If nobody is staking, the stakers' share is burned too.
Who gets the tokens
Nobody buys at a lower price than the public. There is no presale and no private round.

Season 0 tokens nobody claims, auction tokens nobody buys and pool tokens the auction doesn't match all go to trader rewards. They are not burned, so the public's share never shrinks next to the team's.
When tokens unlock
At launch, at most 35% of $DOTCOM can circulate: early users' 25%, the auction's 5% and the pool's 5%. Treasury tokens then arrive monthly from launch, and team tokens monthly from month 13.

Trader rewards are not on this schedule because they are paid only against fees, and the rewards contract can never pay out more than the buyback has burned. So rewards never push circulating supply above the line. Total supply falls with every burn. Every week the dashboard shows tokens released against tokens burned.
The details
How you get $DOTCOM
There are four ways, and none of them is a private deal.
- 1.
Season 0, before launch
Season 0 started on 24 October 2026, the day this plan was published, and runs until a snapshot date announced at least 30 days ahead. Each day, at a random moment fixed after the day ends, your wallet earns 1 point for every $1 of stock tokens you bought on dotcom.systems and still hold, counting up to $10,000. At launch, 250,000,000 $DOTCOM is split in proportion to everyone's points.
- Volume earns nothing. Buying and selling the same stock all day adds no points.
- Tokens moved in from another wallet don't count.
- You need points on at least 7 different days.
- Wallets linked by funding or by sending tokens to each other count as one person, with one $10,000 cap.
- Team, contractor and test wallets are excluded, and the list is published.
- The full list of wallets and points is public for 14 days before the auction, so anyone can check it. Appeals go to connect@dotcom.systems.
- Claim in the app any time in the 180 days after launch. Your tokens land in your stake.
- 2.
Trader rewards, after launch
Every month, each trader can claim up to half the fees they paid, in $DOTCOM, valued at the average price the buyback paid that month. Rewards come from the 40% trader rewards share, never from new tokens, and the rewards contract will not pay out more tokens than the buyback has burned. If a month's rewards would go past that line, the rest carries over to the next month.
A $1,000 buy pays $2.50 and can earn back up to $1.25 in $DOTCOM, so trading back and forth to farm rewards always loses money. Trades at a zero fee earn no rewards. Each month's list is posted 3 days before claims open, with the script that rebuilds it from the chain. Claimed rewards land in your stake, and anything unclaimed after 180 days goes back to the trader rewards share.
- 3.
The public auction, at launch
50,000,000 $DOTCOM will be sold in a 7-day auction on Robinhood Chain, weekends included. Each bid sets a budget in USDG and a highest price, tokens are released block by block, and every buyer pays the same final price. Anyone can bid, trader or fund. The team and the treasury can't. If the auction raises less than a minimum published in advance, every bid is refunded and the launch waits.
Every dollar raised goes into the $DOTCOM/USDG pool with up to 50,000,000 more $DOTCOM at the auction's price, and that pool position is locked for 4 years. The company takes nothing from the sale.
- 4.
The open market, after launch
After launch, $DOTCOM trades in the public pool. The only contract address is the one shown on this page.
Staking
Stake any amount of $DOTCOM. There is no lock. To leave, you start a 7-day exit, and during those 7 days your tokens earn nothing, give no discount and carry no vote.
| $DOTCOM staked | Your fee per trade |
|---|---|
| Under 10,000 | 0.25% |
| 10,000 or more | 0.20% |
| 100,000 or more | 0.10% |
| 1,000,000 or more | 0% on your first $25,000 each month, then 0.10% |
Stakers also share 40% of every buyback, paid out evenly over the following 7 days in proportion to stake, and get one vote per staked token. Rewards come only from tokens the fees bought. No tokens are made for staking, so when trading is slow the rewards are small, and with no trading there are none. The site reads your stake each time it prices an order. Locked team tokens and the treasury can't stake.
The treasury and the team
The treasury is a 3-of-5 multisig wallet on hardware keys, with 2 team signers and 3 outside signers named before launch. The team can't move anything alone, and stakers can vote to replace the outside signers. It receives its 10% monthly over four years, and 10% of every buyback.
It pays for running the site (servers, market data and AI), audits and bug bounties, liquidity and grants, under a yearly budget published before launch and voted on by stakers after the first year. It can send out at most 10,000,000 $DOTCOM, 1% of supply, in a quarter without a vote. When it sells to pay a bill, it says so first and sells in small hourly amounts through the public pool. It never stakes, never votes and does not bid in the auction. Every payment is posted as a press release the day it happens.
The team gets 15%: nothing for the first 12 months, then an equal amount each month for 36 months, from a public vesting contract that can't be sped up. Locked team tokens can't be staked or vote. Team wallets get no Season 0 points and no trader rewards, and no part of any fee goes to the team or the company.
Who decides
Stakers vote, one staked token, one vote, and you can hand your votes to someone else. Anyone with 1,000,000 $DOTCOM staked, their own or handed to them, can propose a change. A vote runs 7 days and passes with more yes than no votes and at least 20,000,000 yes votes. A passed change waits 14 days before it takes effect, longer than the 7-day exit, so anyone who disagrees can leave first.
What a vote can change
- The fee, between 0.10% and 0.25%, at most once a quarter
- The staking tier sizes and the free monthly amount
- The trader rewards rate, between a quarter and half of fees paid
- The treasury's yearly budget, and spending above its quarterly limit
- The outside treasury signers
What no vote can change
- New tokens: no contract can make them
- Burned tokens: they stay burned
- The 50/40/10 split in the buyback contract
- The team and treasury schedules
- The 4-year pool lock
- The rule that rewards never exceed what has been burned
What the company promises
The fee is charged by this site, so a few rules are promises the company makes rather than code: the whole fee goes to this buyback contract, the fee never goes above 0.25%, no part of it goes to the company, rewards are never paid for volume, and there are no tokens for investors, exchanges or market makers. Every trade shows on chain what fee it paid and where it went, so anyone can check.
At first, votes are signed messages counted against stakes at a fixed block, and the treasury signers and the site carry out the result. Moving to fully on-chain voting, once audited, is itself a vote.

What can go wrong
Read these before you decide anything.
- A buyback sends fees to holders. It does not set the price, and tokens with steady buybacks have still fallen a long way. If trading is slow, the buyback is small.
- More tokens circulate over time. Team and treasury tokens add up to 25% over four years, whatever the burn does. The weekly net supply number shows this.
- The fee is charged by this website. If the site changed its code or stopped running, fees would stop. Every fee is on chain, which makes a change visible within a day but cannot prevent it. You can also reach the same pools without this fee, so the fee only holds while the site is worth using.
- The contracts can't be upgraded. A bug can't be patched, only replaced with new contracts. They are small, built from standard parts and audited once before launch.
- Early on, the pool may be thin. Prices can move sharply, and the buyback's price check is easier to push. The hourly cap and the 1% limit bound what the buyback can lose, but they don't remove the risk.
- When the treasury sells to pay a bill, it gives back part of the buyback.
- Season 0 will attract farmers. The linking rules will miss some and wrongly merge some real people. The 14-day public check is the backstop.
- All of this depends on Robinhood Chain, Robinhood's stock tokens, USDG and the order router continuing to work.
Questions
- Can I buy $DOTCOM today?
- No. It has not been made. There is no presale and no private round, and anything sold as $DOTCOM before launch is not ours. The launch date will be announced on this page and on X.
- When does the fee start?
- The hour $DOTCOM launches. Until then the site charges no fee. You pay only the network fee in ETH and the pools' own fee inside the quoted price, as today.
- Where does my fee go?
- All of it goes to the buyback contract, which has no owner. Every hour it buys $DOTCOM in the public pool. Half is burned, 40% goes to stakers and 10% to the treasury. No part of the fee goes to the company.
- How do I get $DOTCOM?
- Four ways. Use the site before launch and earn Season 0 points. Pay fees after launch and claim trader rewards each month. Bid in the 7-day public auction. Or buy it in the pool after launch.
- What do stakers get?
- A lower fee, down to nothing on the first $25,000 a month, a share of 40% of every buyback paid over 7 days, and a vote. There is no lock, and leaving takes 7 days.
- Who owns it?
- 75% goes to people who use or buy it. The team gets 15%, with nothing for a year and then monthly over three years, and the treasury gets 10%. Investors, exchanges and market makers get nothing. $DOTCOM is not a share in the company.
- Who can change the rules?
- Stakers can vote on a few numbers within fixed limits, and every change waits 14 days. Nobody can make new tokens, bring back burned ones, change the split, speed up the team's tokens or raise the fee above 0.25%. The team can't change anything alone.
- How do I check all this?
- At launch every contract address goes on this page. A public dashboard rebuilt from chain data shows every fee, every buyback, total supply and every treasury payment, and the newswire runs a press release on each day's buyback.
Change log
A plan, not a promise
Numbers on this page can change before launch, and every change is listed here with its date. After launch, the rules marked as fixed can't change at all.
